Dorsha is Chief of Staff for an elected official and oversees the district's administration, which serves over 170,000 constituents in five cities. She began her career at 16 years as an Executive Managerial Trainee at Baltimore’s WJZ-TV, a CBS-TV affiliate. For most of her career, Dorsha has leveraged her broadcasting experience to excel as a marketing-communications professional in both public and non-profit sectors. A proud alumna of the University of Virginia, Dorsha is actively engaged in public service from her professional and civic to personal platforms. Currently, she serves as the President and Chair for the Douglas County Travel and Tourism, Inc., Secretary for New Jerusalem Worship Center, Inc. Board of Directors, and the founder of Rays of SonShine, a women's empowerment group. Under a pseudonym, Dorsha is the author of inspirational fiction novels and screenplays. A resident of the Atlanta metro for 17 years, Dorsha is married and the proud mother of two sons and two step-daughters.
