George van Popta is the pastor-emeritus of Jubilee Canadian Reformed Church in Ottawa, Canada. Besides Jubilee Church he has served churches in Taber, Alberta, and Ancaster, Ontario. He and his wife Dora live in Hamilton, Ontario, and have five children and an increasing number of grandchildren. One of his hobbies is writing hymns.
