Joseph Hartzell was born in Edmond, Oklahoma, but has spent the majority of his life in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is an avid comic book fan, film buff, and video gamer. Neon Knights is his first novel which he began writing at the age of 16. Joseph had life changing gastric bypass surgery in 2013 and has lost over 125 pounds. He has been married to his loving wife, Kayla, for over 10 years and together they have 3 children.
