Laonikos Psimikakis-Chalkokondylis is a collaborative contemporary composer and performer of the piano, guitar, and live electronics. Originally from Greece, Laonikos was based in London as a musician and at the moment he lives in Finland where he works as a nature and wilderness guide. His subject matter stems directly from his everyday experiences, which often deals with issues of creativity, existence, spirituality, love, sex, music, wilderness, collaboration, life, nature, meaning, and little moments. He writes mostly in English and occasionally in Greek. Laonikos believes in sharing and collaborating as fundamental principles in defining future growth and human development globally, as well as an important part of the solution to the world's many problems. He considers himself a meta-buddhist (?) and he likes sun-dried tomatoes, paddling, and good sex. His favourite colour is perhaps blue grey.
