Zanada Green Maleki is an author, professional educator, and free lance writer currently living in Maine. She grew up in the Petworth Community of Washington DC, and enjoyed all the wonders of the city sights and sounds especially hailing from Petworth Elementary, MacFarland Jr. High, and the Rough Riders's Theodore Roosevelt High. Off to college at Wilson College in Chambersburg, PA for her BA degree and into the teaching career in Houston, Texas with HISD, along with course works at Texas Southern University and the University of Houston, and collecting her MSEd at the University of New England. She has also taught in Pennsylvania, as well as orchestrated a large population piano studio in her early years in Maine. Each and evey time, cats were always in company from Sunshine, Sylvester, Arthur, all the way to Pookie, Puddie, and Peanut, and a host of other kitties in and out of the paths of living. Her favorite thing to do is ....serendipitous learning!
