It is great to be a writer and what makes it much more fun is that I can write about the island my father chose to live on where he met my Aruban mother. Many times my father had the chance to leave this island but he stayed and we were born here. Me my sister and 3 brothers had a great life here. We all got the opportunity to learn the dutch language, know many Arubans and many others with diverse nationalities, worked hard and enjoyed the beautiful blue beaches and white sands. My wish is that others could also enjoy what I encountered in my life time on this island.
