A scientist by training Mark Smith's first book was a wildlife book called - 'Where Peacock's Pace - A Local Natural Historians Guide to Warwick'. He runs a website called Wild Warwickshire where he publishes his scientific work. Mark has a keen interest in history and has worked in the tourist industry in 'Historic Warwick' for over 8 years. Particularly interested in Ancient History and the Napoleonic Wars Marks latest book focuses on the History of the Royal Warwickshire Regiment. The book aims to create a single narrative for the regiment from creation to merger. The Regiment became an interest when Mark was 17 when he studied the regiments role at Dunkirk. Mark also uses Lulu to sell books written by his mother who specialises in children's books.
