About
Rawdon Crozier

Rawdon wrote poetry from an early age and his writing first came to public attention when his poem ‘The Spin Doctor’s Daughter’ was broadcast on the Radio 4 Today programme in 2005, read by Sue Mcgregor. 'Collected Poetry' was published in /2007 and is now in a second edition, while 'In an Age of Dwarf Hollyhocks' is a later collection of exclusively political verse. From a review of the First Edition of Collected Poetry (2007): "Onto the Today programme ... during their Election Poetry feature came a new dissident voice: crisp, libertarian with more than a passing resemblance to Hilaire Belloc. Sue McGregor loved The Spin Doctor's Daughter and John Humphrys called it very good. So it is...Both in the prose and poetry section of this lifetime collection, there are direct and unflinching attacks on Tony Blair and others...the best of his verse deserves a much wider audience...The flavour is sharp and the attacks hit home. Buy it.. You will not be disappointed." Nigel Pascoe QC
