Rik Tipton works as an Analyst at Sterling Investments. Prior to entering into the investment industry, Rik’s career background was in engineering. Rik developed an interest in investing while he was still employed as an engineer and soon realised that this was where his true passion lay. To facilitate his desired career change, he studied part time to complete the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exams between 2014 and 2016. Rik is a passionate advocate of financial awareness and wrote his book, A Guide to Getting Started with Investment, to help reduce the initial learning curve for new investors and quickly get them up to speed with the basics of investing.
