Rusty Wimberly is a missional, prophetic leader who is passionate about raising up followers of Jesus in this generation. He graduated from Judson University in Elgin, Illinois with a BA in Biblical Studies and also works as a freelance web designer and graphic designer in the Elgin area. In August 2009, Rusty founded About A Burning Fire, a ministry based in the Chicagoland area. About A Burning Fire exists as a resource and support ministry to revive struggling churches and equip established churches to go to the next level. About A Burning Fire does this by providing workshops that equip people on subjects like prayer, intercession, prophetic ministry, leadership and missional outreach. He and his wife Sarah reside in Elgin, Illinois and work along side the local church, reaching their community through worship gatherings, workshops and prayer initiatives. Currently they serve as part of the leadership team of Northside Church, Chicago.
