R. Scott Bomboy is the author of the “Perkasie: An American Hometown" book series and “Wooden Treasures: The Story of Bucks County's Covered Bridges.” Scott is a historian and preservationist who was written frequently about American History and the history of Bucks County. In his career, Bomboy has received national awards for his work in educational journalism and digital publishing, including five Edward R. Murrow awards in television. Also, in his role as Editor in Chief of the National Constitution Center, his blog, "Constitution Daily," was named to the American Bar Association Hall of Fame in 2010. He resides in Perkasie with his wife, Linn.
