Originally from Ohio, I've spent the last six years in Utah learning the ways of the world and responsibility and trying to graduate from Brigham Young University. I'm still working on the first two, but I did manage to pull away a BS in Geography. I've always loved historical fiction and a good love story, but when you combine those two things, you get trashy, bodice-ripper novels that I try to stay away from. After reading several authors classified as "clean romance," I thought to try my hand at writing. Writing turned into my creative outlet and definitive procrastination tool inspired by Statistics. In the end, I have Stats, poor writers and a few encouraging friends to thank for getting me through my first novel. It's the exact sort of fluff and fun that I like to read, with plenty of kissing but no explicit sex, all set in a time period not our own.
