DeWayne Alston is a Baltimore native, currently residing in Las Vegas. DeWayne started writing poetry at the age of 9, and while the poem was simple it displayed a real talent for composition. He attended the historic and prestigious Baltimore City College High School. City allowed for him to open his mind and expand his thinking. DeWayne works in Information Technology during the day and is the owner and program director for Soul City Radio, a 24/7 internet station that promotes and supports independent artists in the Soul, RnB and Jazz genres.
