John M.Hansen was born in Oak Park, Illinois; known as the world's largest Village, in 1932. He has lived in both the north and the south, from rural Mississippi to California , Colorado to New York City and Philadelphia Pennsylvania, where he presently makes his home with his wife. He has worked for boith the Federal and Municipal governments, as well several branches of private industry. For many years his hobbies have been astrology and magic. He has always enjoyd writing, and a selection of his works are availble here. Draja Mickaharic, an authority on magic, as well as a former teacher and close friend, now lives with Mr. and Mrs. Hansen in their modest Philadelphia rowhome.
