Uncaged Stories was conceived by the authors as a way to raise money to get their stories out. Rahsaan Thomas Is a New Yorker. He is the author of One Bad Apple and Fight to Breathe (Shannon Briggs Memoir coming soon). He also is a Sports Editor for San Quentin News. Jeffery Little was born in 1963, he was raised in Maywood, Illinois and moved to San Diego, California at 14. He discovered writing as a way to express his anger, pain and triumphs. Now Little writes urban fiction that is “a little more substantial and outside the box." Eric Curtis is a creative writer from Compton, California, notorious for urban street life. During incarnation, Eric discovered a love for writing in class with instructor Zoe Mullery. Now he is using his skill to tell tales about the city he was raised in. Julian Glenn Padgett (Luke) is part of a creative writing class that has published three of his short stories in Anthologies. Luke is also a staff writer for the San Quentin Newspaper.
