I am a CPA with over 25 years of accounting experience in public, corporate and nonprofit arenas. I am proud to be a Solopreneur and Woman Owned Business of Mittman Besnoff Agency and to be known as Your Financial Maven. I grew up in the suburbs outside of Philadelphia and moved to Pittsburgh to attend the University of Pittsburgh. I received my BS in Business/Accounting from the University of Pittsburgh. I received my Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation in 2002, my Independent Life Insurance Certification in 2014 and my Certified Financial Education Instructor designation in 2018. I also am a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. In addition, I have received three graduate certifications in Nonprofit Management from Gratz College, Women in Entrepreneurship from Cornell University, and Leadership & Ethics from Lebanon Valley College. In 2013 I decided to open up my own practice and become a Solopreneur. My practice consists of Individual Tax Preparation, Small Business & Nonprofit Accounting and Tax Services, Life Insurance and Financial Education Empowerment. I currently live in Lancaster with my husband and my two sons.
