Scott Gutman and Jill Roth-Gutman
Scott Gutman earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Real Estate at Florida State University in 2000. He was employed as a Financial Analyst for IBM where he held several positions within Global Services. In 2006, Scott transitioned his career by becoming a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones Investments. After 5 years of working for the national firm, he opened his own independent wealth management firm, SGI Wealth Management. The firm has grown over the years adding additional financial advisors and support staff. SGI Wealth Management is located in Voorhees, New Jersey, and assists clients across the United States. Co-authoring this journal, Jill Roth-Gutman is deeply committed to helping families navigate complex legal issues. The first in her immediate family to graduate from college and law school, Jill earned her J.D. from New England Law Boston and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Politics and a Citation in American Studies from the University of Maryland, College Park. Jill was a Law Clerk for the Honorable Judge Hogan in the Superior Court of New Jersey. She spent over 13 years as a state-appointed attorney, for hundreds of children in alleged abuse and neglect cases. In 2016, Jill became a Child Welfare Law Specialist, certified by the Nation Association of Counsel for Children, a credentialing organization approved by the American Bar Association. Jill opened her niche family law and estate planning law firm in New Jersey in 2022.
