Beacon Science, modeled after scholarly journals in the field, represents self-selected topics of study for students enrolled in Senior Science Seminar at Beacon High School. After conducting lengthy laboratory experiments and writing reviews of literature, students publish their findings in the annual issue of Beacon Science. Topics in this issue range from Pavlovian conditioning to the use of nicotine as an herbicide.
