The Sinai Experience

On Mount Sinai Moses experienced a glory that faded away, but on Mount Zion we enjoy greater glory that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day. The law of Moses, the law of sin and death, was the glorious ministry of death that bound Israel to the law. But the law of the Spirit of life in Christ JESUS, the ministry of the Spirit, gives us much more glorious liberty to walk in newness of life. Moses descended from Sinai with the ministry of condemnation, but JESUS arises upon Zion with the ministry of righteousness. The law of Moses revealed the epistle of God on tablets of stone, but the grace of JESUS Christ writes the will of God in our hearts as tablets of flesh, making us epistles of Christ everywhere we go to be read by all.
