An investigation into the symbolism of the Yantra of the Supreme Goddess. The human being is an instrument designed with ultimate purpose – to know its identity with the Supreme Spirit. The Shri Chakra is a map, not only of that instrument but also of the landscape to be traversed in achieving that purpose. The Shri Chakra is a Yantra – "sacred diagram" of great power which has many interpretations, including the Creation, the Subtle System, the Virata, the Devanagari alphabet and the cosmic dissolution – a subtlety indicative of its divine nature.
