Craving For Independence

Title: "Craving For Independence" Desperately, seeking for a way out of her parent’s house, a place that had been an actual prison for her; Annie Mitchell, decided that she was going to pretty-up herself, flattering dress and all, and stand onto the side of the road. Hoping that she would encounter someone to talk with, possibly, one of the older teenagers coming home from school. Nonetheless, someone stopped their car, and he wasn’t a teenager coming home from school, but an older man who later stated to her that he was working in the medical profession. He invited her to come inside his car. But smilingly she refuses and stood still, holding onto the gate post for support so she could make herself look normal as possible. Striking up a conversation, phone numbers were exchanged and date night was now set in motion. And although, born with a severe deformity to her lower limbs, she desperately wanted to find love, live her dream of having a job and being free from the hands that has held her bounded for many years and the lying lips which only continuously spoke, discouraging words into her ears. But, letting go from her parents strong-hold, just wouldn’t be easy.
