The Double Escape

A never before published sea story of a Salem schooner captured by the British in the Delaware during the blockade of 1812. Edited and illustrated by a descendant of the schooner captain from Hingham, Massachussets, letters describing the actual capture and British log entries are included which allow comparison of the fictional account to the historical record.
