Many Christians believe that Paul lived his life as a struggling sinner and they use what he said in Romans 7 as an excuse to justify their sin. In Rom. 7:15, 19 Paul said, "... 15what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do … 17it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me ... 19what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do - this I keep on doing." These verses seem to say that Paul was continually overcome by his sinful nature. Because of this, some believers say that if the great Apostle Paul sinned all the time then they have no chance of stopping so they continue in sin. In this article, I would like to show that Paul was not a struggling sinner but an example for us all to folloW
