It is 1680, CATHRYN, the daughter of Lord Seaton, has decided to strike out on her own. On the roads of Brittan she experiences some of human nature at its worst, with her paying the price. She is snatched up by clever hands that ship her off to indenture-ment, and an unknown fate, across the great Atlantic. During the voyage to America, she is taken by pirates. Cathryn by her wit, skills and innate charm subdues the hearts of the crew, the captain is thrown over the side. As the ship travels on, she sees many aspects of the world, the genocide of the Indians, slavery, corruption, decadence, greed. With the rebel Cathryn at the helm, the crew, steal ships from other pirates, gold from the Spanish coffers, befriend the Indian nation, fight off offensive Puritans, ride out terrible storms and defeat the biggest Pirate boss in the Caribbean. Beautifully written by H.G. Elmore. Not a trendy novel; this is literature at its very best!
