I have been clinically depressed three times. I’ve also watched more than one person that I love go through the same—watched the people closest to me experience what I would not wish on my worst enemy. I’m not a psychologist, a therapist, or a social worker. I’m just a 30-something woman who’s been through hell and back and lived to talk about it. This book is my attempt to help those who find themselves facing a depressed loved one and feeling completely lost—and to indirectly help those who actually find themselves in the deep, dark hole of clinical depression.
