It's 1987 and the U.S. has been ravaged by anarchistic rioting from ‘77, forcing it to rebuild. The reconstruction left little room for justice, especially in the Midwest. Through the emotional ruins of uncouthness birthed a perilous sport that caught humanity’s truest emotion: apathy. That of vehicular rage, from Wrecking Racing to a countrywide National Derby Championship quickly rallied the residual population of America as the entertainment of a century. After her father died in the riots of 1980, young female driver Pania and her ‘70 Ford Mustang have made a rigid living off Wrecking Racing. But when Pania gets an offer she can't refuse from Name, a fellow driver with his own connections, she must go--to National Derby Championship. Her Mustang, “Thirteen,” teams with Name’s ‘72 Plymouth Road Runner renamed “Coyote” for a ride of their lifetime—even if that means enduring some turbulence while they’re at it.
