After having another epileptic fit, Danielle Smith wakes in the present of an alternate reality. In this version of 2000, there are no cars or electrical devices because they haven't been invented yet. She doesn't have a reason for being there.
Note: This is the first ever time travel story to introduce the concept of sideways time travel.
