Haunted Flames

Jasmine Roads hides from her gift she calls a curse. She has been secluded all her life until her grandmamma moves them to the city. A whole new world is opened up. Still she wants to go unnoticed, unseen. The day she helped her first spirit is the day her life unraveled. Detroit has been under attack by numerous amounts of fires lately. The streets are unusually quiet and that alone scares the authorities. Something big is about to happen. Cole Van Buran a ten year veteran fire fighter rescues Jasmine from a burning building and his whole life changes. The guilt he carries from losing a life in a fire haunts him. He is looking for answers and she is running from them. Cole see's something in Jasmine no one else has. Now he has to convince her to help him. She doesn't make it easy for him but he never gives up. Jasmine will show him it wasn't his fault. Together they will heal each other. They will try to catch the man responsible for the chaos that haunts their city and their lives.
