Why Me, Lord?

A “true fairy tale” of achievement, this is the memoir of a retired Navy Captain, born in the coalfields of Appalachia, and chronicles his meteoric rise to positions of responsibility in the Navy and later in civilian life. Many private insights are shared with respect to naval duties, as well as the details and emotions of battle while the Captain of a destroyer in combat off North Vietnam. Written primarily as a keepsake for his daughters, many Navy and family pictures are included.
