The Glaisworth Crossing

Dorothy Walsh, recently widowed and retired from a long career in nursing takes a holiday in the Yorkshire Dales, reviving old memories of her childhood. With the discovery of a long-lost cousin, a casualty from the war, she is forced to draw on a lifetime’s skills that she had hoped could now be confined to the past. Along with another visitor, Mike Anderson, a mysterious but charming widower, seemingly with an agenda of his own, she seeks to uncover the events that have so transformed the Glaisworth of her youth. It is not going to be an easy journey for either of them.
