Thornhill High School

REVISED FOURTH EDITION (Full Colour) Thornhill High School, Gweru, Zimbabwe, was founded in 1955 at an Air Force Base. The school relocated to new premises where traditions developed with time. Ex-pupils of this fine school adopted the habit of arranging periodic re-unions world-wide - normally in Zimbabwe itself but also the Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and United Kingdom, where like-minded individuals created and renew friendships. 2015 is the 60th year since its founding, and once again various re-unions were held to commemorate this significant mile-stone in the history of Thornhill High School. More pages have been added since the Third Edition was published in November 2015 - after the BIG Harare (Zimbabwe) and Paeroa (New Zealand) reunions were held in October 2015. Old, long lost friends, have been found and re-united - as if it was only yesterday when Thornhillians went their separate ways. This record, by past pupils, for past pupils, celebrates these historical events.
