Mother's Son

The first book from poet Sidney Black displays his evolving style with selected pieces from periods including his final years in the juvenile justice system, and his New York slam and free verse period with the poet group Mathematics. Also including pieces covering his time in Iraq with the United States Marines. This collection displays his depth, but also the evolution as both man and artist. We can only wait to see how he grows, and the depth of his hopeful next release.
