Reluctant Lady

HMAS Whyalla, a Second World War corvette built for the Royal Australian Navy in 1941, was transported to where it was built in the Whyalla South Australia thirty years ago. To celebrate this event an exhibition of cartoons by Stephen Stanley was held on the mess deck of the ship. This book is a record of that exhibition and contains about four dozen "STAN" cartoons from the local newspaper, the Whyalla News about the ship and its journey to its present resting place at the Whyalla Maritime Museum.
