PREFACE: Chioma’s behaviour had started as spontaneous attraction to Victor, which she malignantly severed, by her wanton report to Mr. Ibe, their schoolmaster. One bright morning, Victor was standing at the bus stop waiting to pick a bus ride to continue his search for the elusive job. He did not reckon with a lift in a beautiful lady’s car, later an offer as a partner in her company. Just when they were getting to know each other very well, death struck.
