Rachel is primarily a blacksmith and artist. She is newly a curator and editor Her sculptural work addresses social inequalities, environmental degradation and systemic prejudice, exclusion and oppression. It is inspired by dreams, her life and body, the landscapes she passed through and the processes of metalworking she employs. The whole pattern is one she holds close and repeats as a method of living with conscientious care, keeping in mind the carbon footprint of her practice and tries to create opportunities for people at the margins to participate.
