My name is Jeffery Wright Jr., but everyone calls me Monk. I was born in Cleveland Ohio and grew up in Houston Texas. I now currently reside in Atlanta Georgia. I have been passionate about art since I was knee high to a grasshopper. At around 17 years old I took on my first paid commission. It was from some of my grandmother's church friends, my payment was Homemade Apple Pie, Homemade Cherry Pie, Homemade Peach Cobbler, and Homemade Ice Cream. That was great times! Now, 20+ years later, I am a professional artist and disciplined in a variety of areas in the creative arts industry.
