Thomas R. Jones is a published author, playwright, and producer. His body of work includes historical and future fiction novels, stage plays and poetry. He served in Vietnam as a Senior Hospital Corpsman with the 3rd Marine Long Range Reconnaissance Battalion, awarded the Purple Heart, Presidential Unit Citation, Combat Action Ribbon, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Vietnam Services Medal. Although he survived the war, he like so many war veterans, returned a different person. "Lost Survivor" is the story of a young soldier who adapts to the jungles of Vietnam for survival, but is lost when he returns home.
