Susan Boyer McCoy, better known by The Toadess as Granny, lives on the Ranch with her husband, Bill McCoy, called Papa by The Toadess. Susan is a retired physical therapist and Bill is a retired agronomist. The Toadess is their granddog. Susan and Bill have four children, eleven grandchildren, and one great grandchild. They live on a very safe Ranch in central Texas where security is provided by The Toadess. There are Kritters other than The Toadess who live on the Ranch--Miss April the rat terrior, Tanna and Jody the funny long-eared Donkey Kritters, Zack the horse, and Dunker the dog who has just moved to Illinois with his Dad.
