The author is a fan of George RR Martin, R. Scott Bakker, Patrick Rothfuss, Robert Jordan/Brandon Sanderson, and pretty much all good fantasy. He currently works on large-scale computer systems, and conducts academic research on IT. For fun, he enjoys cooking, biking, skiing, playing with the kids, and of course, writing.
