Ever since I was a child I was happiest either climbing trees and playing make-believe or with a pencil in my hand, and as an adult I am still happiest in the great outdoors or sitting around drawing and scribbling.... I moved to France with my family and wanted to write a bi-lingual book aimed at young children. I am an English teacher for young children and came up with the idea of Cheeky Monkey. I graduated from University College London with an English Language and Literature degree, and went on to do a TEFL qualification with the British Council in London, Piccadilly.
