I'm not going to tell you about me because I'm really not very interesting: I just write the stories. But Scotsmen Detective Inspector Angus Grouse (the curmudgeonly collage-making owner of a 1959 Triumph Bonneville) and his sidekick Hamish Partridge (possibly the sweetest and certainly one of the hunkiest detectives to ever grace the pages of crime literature) are! They are the heroes of my comedy-crime novels, set in the fictious county of Murkshire, somewhere in the middle of England with the help of forminable forensic expert, Dr Gloria la Luya. Grouse and Partridge have gained a thriving fanbase since they first appeared in print and readers have said some very nice things about them. If you are a lover of the detective genre, the silly or the Scots it would really be a 'crime' to pass them by...
