JM Jumabhoy
The author went through the rigours of the Japanese occupation of Singapore for 4 years, before serving in a senior role in the political and economic evolution of Singapore. He has met many world leaders and also took the opportunity to meet and talk with many well-known religious and spiritual leaders. He became more active in the religious field over time, participating in various Inter Religious Organisations, the World Congress of Faith, Universities and the UK Theosophical Society. The IRO struck the author as an effort to offering hope to dilute differences in at least one area of human contention – religion. He has given talks on analysis of Religions, touching on Judaism, Catholicism and Islam. His life experience attracted him to the study of comparative religions as a serious but rational subject to address the erroneous misunderstandings that exist about Faith and our relationship with God.
