I have been a teacher for the past sixteen years and have had many students involved in the foster care system. It always breaks my heart working with these students and have come close to bringing a few home to live with me! My husband was always so supportive, but I wondered what it would be like to not have that support and be faced with the choice of saving a child, but losing all you love in the process.
