James Sidney Scott, 1921-2019, was an RAF Wireless Operator on Halifax bombers during WWII. He was shot down over Belgium and taken prisoner of war. After the war he emigrated with his family to Australia This book is the story of his incredible survival as his aircraft was shot down, and later freed by the Russians. His crew were not so lucky. A story of how one day's awful events can have long lasting repercussions years later.
