An offshoot of A Poet's Eye (APE), A Poet's Learning Society (APLS) came into being under the tutelage of Nick Tamborra, who sought a more intellectual salon in which to extend the craft of learning and writing poetry. Out of that vision came over thirty members with serious ideas on just how far their need to learn would extend. Since then, APLS has grown to become the preimmenent poetry group on Facebook, far surpassing it's mother group in talent and the insatiable need to learn and to grow as writers.
