WARNER MILES is a former CFL football player. He played for the Toronto Argonauts, BC Lions, Hamilton Tiger-Cats and the Ottawa Rough Riders. From 1988 to 1990, Warner was an offensive guard for the Ottawa Bootleggers semi-pro football team. He earned an M.Sc. in Earth Sciences and had a 31-year career as a geophysicist. He has been retired since 2016. Against all odds he is still married to wife of 35 years, Laurie. Their two daughters, Alison and Hayley, have left the nest.
