Alan Miller has written a superb guide for those who are interested in bringing citizen access to democracy to their communities. As the Hon. Paul Anderson, Associate Justice of the Minnesota Supreme Court states in his forward to this book, "If a democratic society is to thrive, or even survive, it must have citizens who are informed and engaged." Mr Miller shows, by example, that creating a local television program to inform and engage citizens is well within the realm of possibility for communities across the nation. With clarity and humor, he presents not only "What to do", but also, "What NOT to do". This book is easy to read, and its positive message will stir your enthusiasm for civic engagement.
