Creative Conversations uses brilliant games to develop the playful use of the mind that is characteristic of great innovators. You learn how to shift an ordinary conversation into one where you spark off each other's ideas and fresh insights arise.
The approach was developed because I often found myself having dull conversations with bright people. The spirit of play was missing - partly because most people do not know how to play with ideas.
There is more to these creativity techniques than just fun. They help business people cultivate a creative climate and come up with fresh ideas, as well as contributing to team building and collaborative communication. Teachers can use them to help students gain deeper insight into concepts from science, literature and mathematics.
And of course playfulness and learning always bring fresh spark into any relationship.

"Creative Conversations" As a facilitator I often find myself in search of a variety of non-routine means of enabling for an 'aha erlebnis'; a question or challenge which arouses interest. The participants may have 'been there, done that', hence the conversation triggers have to resonate. Creative Conversations provides a rich source of playful conversation triggers which are fun but also 'psychodramatic' as the author shows a deep grounding in a range of contemporary social sciences. Hence, whilst my first impression was that this was a 'book of games', a closer read proved that this book is engaging in an intellectual, emotional and visual sense.
