Emerald Hills

A prose-poem set in the emerald hills of Appalachia, this work seeks to communicate a Vision of grief, of dreams, of decadence, of Love. Experimenting w/ Form, this work can only be a Poem. Poetry is the last real free place left for a writer who feels the calumniating touch of the 'civilized' world encroaching upon the pristine mountains. He had to write the resistance! He had to get away from everybody and write the philosophy down before he could share the Poem w/ them. Here it is...
