I'm still working my way through the book now. I got it when it first came out and was offered free as a download. The style does remind me of Shel Silverstein, but I find that not a bad thing since I enjoyed his books so much. I'm enjoying all the small poems and I like the accompanying illustrations. I think the author did a great job, and hope he continues to pursue writing ^^
Hee~ It's kinda cute. I would really like for this version in my own language, so I could read some of it for my little niece. Not only kids can enjoy this, but adults and teens too. I felt a bit inspired by these poems, they are quite classic and fun, yet serious. This could even be used for educational purposes for minors. It could solve a lot of uncertainty while still having the fun and creativity a child needs. I hope that this book will see some glorious days, and that it might be released in other languages. I've voted a 5/5 because I found it fun, serious and yet you can still learn something from it.
A fun little book. In a world that's often far too serious, this was a nice little evening read. Lots of laughs, a few puzzled looks, but entertaining through and through. It's essentially a spin-off of John Lennon's "In His Own Write" which isn't all bad. Nice to see some whimsy in 2009.
